8 New Artists To Look Out For In 2019

Like every year, 2018 has brought us some new artists that are meant for longevity and will hopefully create new lanes for aspiring artists to follow. Here are 8 of many new artists to look out for in 2019:

#RoddyRicch is the newest rap-singing artist and producer out of Compton at 20-years-old. Roddy is still riding off the viral success of his best single to date, “Die Young,” which is dedicated to #XXXTentacion, #LilSnupe and #SpeakerKnockerz. His latest mixtape “Feed Tha Streets II” features the party anthem and follow up to this debut single, “Nascar,” which could be proof he’ll be around in 2019 and beyond.

#DaniLeigh has a vibe like no other. The Florida native and #DefJam recording artist has been making major waves in the entertainment industry and her single, “Lil Bebe” is definitely making its way through the airwaves and blessing fans with something different and something new to look forward to in 2019. Check out her latest album #ThePlan and stay tuned to see what’s next for DaniLeigh.

#BlocboyJB is the Memphis born rapper and songwriter responsible for the all famous dance, the “Shoot,” and was half of the force behind the hit single “Look Alive” with #Drake, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard charts. So needless to say, the only way is up in 2019 for Blocboy. He has already made a name for himself in the industry and has worked with fellow hip-hop artists like #21Savage, #BlacYoungsta, #TayK, and #GEazy. Stay tuned!

#QueenNaija has gone from #Youtube star to R&B star in a matter of months, and her music career seems to be a promising path for the #Michigan native. Her breakout single “Medicine” debuted on #Billboard at No. 45, but her follow up single – after signing to #CapitolRecords – “Karma” debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Charts. 2018 was a great year for Queen Naija, and we’re positive 2019 will be even greater with her second born on the way.

#YNWMelly is a 19-year-old rapper from Gifford, Florida who has just as many hits as he does charges in the criminal justice system. His unique and undeniable voice combined with raw, emotion-filled lyrics makes Melly the influence the younger generation will look to for how to make it out. “Murder On My Mind” from his latest mixtape #IAmYou is one of his most well-known tracks as well as a remix to the #ChrisBrown’s smash “Say Goodbye,” which is called “Slang Dat Iron.” He will definitely be around for some years to come.

#LightSkinKeisha has been added to the roster of #Atlanta talent with an infectious personality. The rapper/singer grew to fame from her various viral videos on #Instagram and #Youtube and now her first project “That’s Just The Bottom Line” is making its way to popularity thanks to her hit singles “Ride Good” and “Big Bank Beisha” featuring another up and coming, #BlocboyJB. With LA Reid’s Hitco Entertainment behind her, LightSkinKeisha will be one leading the way in music next year.

#SmookyMarGielaa planted his feet in 2018 but is going to take off in 2019. The 16-year-old Bronx native has already scored hits with some of hip hop’s elite, but his latest single “Flight To Memphis” featuring Chris Brown, #JuicyJ, and his mentor, #ASAPRocky has him on track for domination next year when he releases his debut album. Smooky MarGielaa is unlike any other artist of the new generation, bringing a totally new sound for the next to follow.

#DDG is another Youtube star turned hip-hop star and has continued to emerge this year bringing a lot to look forward to in 2019. The 21-year-old Pontiac made artist has already made another hit with the assistance of #GHerbo, #YBNNahmir and #BlacYoungsta for his latest single, “Run It Up,” following the success of his mega-hit, ”Givenchy.” With his growing popularity on the music front on top of his established YouTube fan base, DDG will no doubt be a force in 2019.
