Man Who Gives Free Haircuts to the Homeless Gets Free Barbershop From Stranger

The Philadelphia man that dedicated last year to give the homeless free haircuts is now being compensated for his kindness.

As the holidays are quickly approaching, Brennon Jones thought he wouldn’t have a way to give the homeless free haircuts this year. However, a stranger who heard of Jones’ good deeds wanted to help.

That stranger was barbershop owner, Sean Johnson. “When I found out, [I thought] ‘Well I need to be a part of that,” Johnson told Fox 29. “‘I need to see what I can do to help.’”

The gift kept on giving. Johnson ended up giving his fully renovated barbershop to Jones so he could continue his honorable acts.

“[Johnson] said, ‘Listen, I’ve got a building I want you to come check out,’” Jones said. “He said, ‘Do you like this place?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I like it.’ He tossed me the key and said, ‘It’s yours.’”⠀⠀⠀⠀

Both men share big hearts, Johnson says what he did was bigger than him.

“It wasn’t about me giving a barbershop,” he said. “When you look at the homeless and the things that they need, I looked at it as more. I built something and I want to see it keep going and I want to see it do a great thing.”

Jones’ new barbershop is set to open in November with specific days dedicated to serving the homeless.

“I just continue to rely on my faith. God brought me this far, I know he’s not gonna leave me now,” said Jones.
