Bengals’ Adam Jones, 33, was arrested at 12:25 am on Tuesday. According to reports, the cornerback is in Hamilton County Jail on charges of misdemeanor assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing official business.

A police report says Pacman was arrested for assaulting another man, followed by “turbulent behavior” that included pulling away from officers, kicking, head-butting and refusing to enter a police car. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 9am.

UPDATE: (8:54 am EST) – According to The Cincinnati Enquirer, Adam Jones was originally arrested on three misdemeanor charges but later in the morning was charged with a felony for harassment of a member of the medical staff in the justice center with a bodily substance after he spit on a nurse at the jail.

Jones was arrested early Tuesday morning for “pushing and poking” a man in the eye. When trying to apprehend him, Cincinnati police say Jones engaged in turbulent behavior, refused to stop when ordered to and was kicking and head-butting when officers tried to get him into the squad car.
