Popular Game Show Host Alex Trebek has announced that he’s “back in action” and gearing up to host Season 36 of “Jeopardy.”
Trebek shared the good news via Twitter, announcing that he had completed his chemotherapy treatment for stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
“I’ve gone through a lot of chemotherapy, and thankfully that is over,” Trebek said. “I’m on the mend, and that is all I can say right now.”
Trebek had announced his health struggles five months ago via a message posted on YouTube. Despite his diagnosis, he powered through the remaining tapings of the 35th season and closed out strong for the 50th episode of popular game show on April 17.
Trebek has been hosting “Jeopardy” since 1984.
