Anti-Vaccine Protestor Threw “Menstrual Blood” At Senators During Session

Days after the California Governor, Gavin Newsom, signed two new bills into law that will tighten regulations on doctors who write notes to exempt children from vaccines at school, an anti-vaccine protester threw what appeared to be menstrual blood at California lawmakers during session inside the California State Capitol building.

Rebecca Lee Dalelio was arrested Friday at the State building after cops allege she threw what they described as a “feminine hygiene device containing what appeared to be blood.”  Eyewitnesses says she threw the red, blood-like liquid from the upstairs balcony area, where she and other anti-vaxxers watched the session in silent protest.

The liquid, which witnesses say came from a menstrual cup, splashed a few state senators, including Senator Melissa Hurtado, as well as documents and desks.

Video captured a woman screaming, “That’s for the dead babies”. The video also shows a woman, presumed to be Dalelio, being escorted out into the hall by police, where she continues about dead babies, stating, “Their blood is on your hands.”

The state senators were wrapping up the last day of the legislative year with a vote on last-minute measures. The Senate session went into recess after the incident and concluded in private chambers shortly afterward.

The vaccination bill goes into effect on January 1, 2020 and states if doctors issue more than 5 exemptions to a student in one year, public health officials can review the passes. Schools are also subject to scrutiny if they fall below a certain level of vaccination rate.

But period blood though…
