The space will be decked out in all pink, and female entrepreneurs will be able to work on their own business with the help of The Bakery’s in-house photography sessions, green screen videography, executive offices, and retail spaces. Simone’s career without any payment for a year. Aside from B. Simone, Seats has worked with a slew of clients in the industry. She opened her first business, Cupcake Mafia, in 2011, with only $300 in her bank account, which has now grown into a million-dollar company.

“You can be a mom, a wife, or whatever it is you want to be. I used to want to find a poster woman for the ideal mom, wife, and unstoppable girl boss – and I honestly I couldn’t find it. So, I became it,” Seats told Black Enterprise. Both women came together to build The Bakery based off their mission of empowering women.
