Peter Thomas’ baby mother, Nancy Fernandez, is under fire after posting a video with their son doubting his acknowledgment as her Black child. The mother’s race is unknown, however, the son explains that by having a Black father, he is Black. Followers are disappointed that not only racial shaming (light-skin versus dark-skin) remains an issue in 2018, but also disappointed that ill-minded separation is still being taught to the children.

“What do I have?”
“A white daughter and Black son.”
“You’re not Black, you’re brown.”
“My dad is the color of a newly paved street.”

The mother and son both laughed, but he stood by his argument stating “I’m Black,” just before the video ended.
