Baller Alert Does Houston Appreciation Weekend : blogged by @niksofly

I have three words for you: Houston Appreciation Weekend.  I don’t know what you did these last five days to commemorate Memorial Day Weekend, but if you weren’t in Houston, that’s your loss. Powered by @aristocratlife , OvO and YEMG, HAW had the city of Trillism on Go Mode. It is safe to say a movie was made. ALife always puts on for the city.

HAW officials welcomed everyone to Houston on Thursday. The Bun B  Tribute at The Astoria Hotel was a private event for the elites of Houston, but if you weren’t privy enough to be on the guest list, the alternative was to turn up with Free Bandz own, Future, and LMG’s Kirko Bangz  who were in concert. The official after party at 5th Amendment was insane.

The Celebrity Softball game benefiting Houston Astros’ Urban Youth Academy kicked off Friday’s events, but the Engine Room is where it all went down. With DJ Mr. Rogers in the mix, YOLO was the motto. Ne-Yo, Drake,  Angela Simmons, Snootie Wild, Trae , Sincere YEMG and Rap-A- Lot were just a few of the celebs in attendance. Bottles were going up and it was going down.   Saturday was no different. Venue was lit with Fetty Wap. Ms. Simmons , Kirko Bangz , Sanya Ross and T-Wayne among other ballers who were turning up.  It is already understood that you do not gamble with your Saturday, so Venue was definitely the move to make. Can we say Bottle Wars?

Sunday was suppose to be a day of rest, but with Drizzy having Houston as one of the stops on the Jungle Tour,  sleep was no longer an option.  BA took its talents to Lord Ingenious Sundays at Social Junkie. It’s where the ballers play. DJ Mr. Rogers took us on a tour of the boot and Jamaica with his mix. VIP was jumping. Odell Beckham Jr., Slim Thug, Kirko Bangz, King Keraun, Patrick Beverley among others were enjoying the ambiance of VIP. Grammy Award Winning producer and song writer, Bryan Michael Cox, slid through for a few ticks.  Those with access hit the Toyota Center for the Drake concert. Those that didn’t attend the concert lined up early for Sold Out Sundays at Limelight powered by Good Fellas and #BossManWoody.  Boosie Bad Azz hit the stage rocking the crowd with favorites. There was no visible space. Wall to wall, Limelight was packed.

After the party it’s the after party, right?  BA hit the only strip club that is known for showing out in Houston- VLive! Friday through Sunday, VLive  went waaaaaaay up! Blac Chyna, Odell Beckham Jr., Nate Washington, Ryan Mouton, Drake, Angela Simmons, Johnathan Joseph had VLive on swell. India Love and Chantell Jeffries were also spotted. Ballers were dropping stacks like no tomorrow. The king of the strip club, Alvin, had no problems showing the out of town-ers how it’s done. The DJ Eric and Big Tho Show went in every night!!!  Anytime a new song dropped, stacks were soon to follow.  Walking into VLive is like walking into a blizzard. At one point, the dancers were no longer visible. Money clouded the air. From 2am until day break, it rocked. I have so many paper cuts from the money raining on me. Siiiiigh.

And just when I thought it was over, ALife hit Houston  with the Cool Down at Capitol Bar on Monday. The Day party was a perfect way to end the legendary weekend. The vibe was chill. The music was great. The people were beautiful. They say you have to roll with winners and judging from this weekend, I do.

On another note: If someone can give me a remedy for being lit, I would greatly appreciate it. My body is sore and my voice is gone.

I have to give a huge shout out to Poppa Doc and Concrete Security. He kept me safe this weekend as I stayed on the scene. Be sure to follow BA on snapchat
