Today, Will Smith is IG’s newest obsession, but we can’t forget about his original stomping grounds – the rap game.

‘The Fresh Prince” and his partner in crime, DJ Jazzy Jeff released their single, “Parents Just Don’t Understand” back in 1988.

One year later, they made history by becoming the first to ever receive a Grammy for ‘Best Rap Performance.”

Before the single hit the Grammys, it peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was ranked at No. 96 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop.
