Baller Behind The Scenes: Jeff Clanagan

When we think about Ballers we often think about those who are constantly in the spotlight. Often we forget about those who are behind the scenes and happen to be some of the biggest Ballers of them all. That’s why Baller Alert is bringing a new series “Baller Behind The Scenes” where we spotlight Ballerific Men and Women who may not always get the shine they deserve.

First let’s start with our first Baller Behind The Scenes, Jeff Clanagan.

Jeff Clanagan got his start in film production as president of No Limit Films, but is most known for his production of black films such as “Foolish”, “Hair Show” and most recently Kevin Hart’s “Seriously Funny”. What people don’t realize is that Jeff Clanagan has put in over twenty years in the industry. He’s produced a long list of successful comedy specials which have premiered on networks such as HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, and BET and have thrived in the DVD marketplace. He was also executive producer of “Livin Large”, the syndicated television show hosted by Kadeem Hardison and Carmen Elektra which ran from 2002-2004.

In 2005 Jeff Clanagan founded CodeBlack Entertainment, a production company and entertainment conglomerate he used to help define, expand and ultimately change the face of urban filmed entertainment. CodeBlack is behind many comedy series as well as the gospel hit “Mama I Want To Sing”. It’s great to see black men follow a path of positivity rather than the path that others assume they’ll take.

Much love to our first Baller Behind The Scenes, Jeff Clanagan.
