There are some great colors that I think compliment winter well. A look that I find to be one of my favorites is the smokey eye. But not always the traditional smokey eye is more than jus the blacks and greys. I love the the caramel brown and tan smokey eye. below are some colors/tools that are great combos for the smokey eye. I think most of the time the smokey begins to get lost in translation because I hear alot of women say its too dark or its too messy. You can take even a soft brown and create a smokey eye. The key to the perfect smokey eye in my opinion is finding the right blend for you.
^^above is some tools i use to create the under your eye and corner crease smoke.^^
^^^^^In the video above I think those are great colors to do a warmer smokey eye look. I see a lot of WOC do the grey/black smokey eye. It works but in my opinion colors that compliment our skin tones work better. I also wouldn’t recommend taking your eyeshadow all the way to the brow w/o blending up.^^^^^
The above palette is a smokey eye palette of COURSE you don’t need to use those brushes/applicators provided they are not very helpful. IMO. This palette comes with cards in the inside instruction on how to do the smokey eye. I recommend doing it yourself tho.
