Ballerific Fashion Social: Shun Melson Fashun Take Over Spring Show

On Saturday, Baller Alert had the pleasure of attending Celebrity Stylist Shun Melson Fashun Take Over Spring Show in Atlanta. For those that may not know Shun Melson, check out our “Stylists You Should Know” post about some of the hottest stylists in the industry. Shun has styled some of your favorite celebs from Monica, Kandi, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Gucci Mane, Phaedra Parks, and more. In attendance of the fashion show were Kandi, Precious Harris, Erica Dixon and a host of others.

Last year, we shared how some designers are beginning to add plus size models to the runway. Shun Melson’s spring collection showcased models of all sizes, from 2-24. As each model walked the runway, everyone had the opportunity to see how each piece looked on various sizes. Sometimes when we are shopping we are skeptical at how the item may look on our bodies. I can honestly say that each piece complimented each model’s figure.

The pieces featured a two-piece comfortable set, off-the-shoulder dress, floral prints, cardigans, jumpsuits and more. What really caught my eye was the different slogans on the back of the shirts and cardigans. The slogans were “Our President Is Petty, I don’t want to be a hashtag, and Dear Barack and Michelle Please…”

Check out some of the pieces below:
