Ballerific Sports: Josh Gordon Fails Another Drug Test; Gordon Responds

In February 2015, Josh Gordon was suspended for at least one-year without pay for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Back on January 20, Gordon applied for reinstatement. As of last month however, the NFL hadn’t reached a decision as to whether or not they’d reinstate him. Now, the possibility is looking a little less likely.

FOX Sports’ Mike Garafolo announced Monday that the suspended wide receiver failed yet ANOTHER drug test. According to reports, Gordon tested positive for “marijuana and dilute” early last month. Not a good look if he’s trying to reenter the NFL on a positive note. “Though the level of marijuana was below the 35 nanograms per milliliter required for a positive test, the diluted sample is considered a positive test,” says Garafolo.

This does not mean that Gordon’s suspension will be prolonged another year, it just doesn’t look good for his reinstatement. Gordon took to his Twitter account to (kind of) address the situation at hand, tweeting, “Smh..Call me if u need a real story worth writing.”

In related news, it was previously reported that Gordon’s teammate, Johnny Manziel, was living with Super Bowl champ Von Miller. That’s not the case, actually.

Miller took to Instagram to laugh off the rumors, “You guys are HILARIOUS!!! Haha, I love it,” Miller posted. “Johnny’s not staying with me but he is my BROTHER! Like I’ve said a thousand times, I got his back no matter what!”

At this point, Manziel and Gordon are both going to have a hard time getting their act together.

Fox Sports reports that Manziel and Gordon are actually roomies living in L.A. Garafolo also says that several people close to Johnny Football are concerned that he “continues to party in Los Angeles, even as his NFL career is at a low point.”
