On Thursday, REVOLT TV hosted a town hall social conversation with Democratic Presidential Candidate, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders at REVOLT Studios in the heart of Hollywood. The discussion was an extension of REVOLT’s voter initiative, REVOLT 2 Vote, and allowed the public the opportunity to hear from the Senator about his various issues and policies. Additionally, members of the audience as well as students from UCLA and USC via video were able to ask questions to the Senator directly.
The conversation was moderated by the President of Vote America Now, Chris Prudhome and featured REVOLT host and Chief Political Reporter Amrit Singh.
Topics covered during the social conversation included criminal justice reform, college tuition rates and health care. Senator Sanders also addressed Donald Trump’s recent debate challenge.
