Best Reality Shows To Get Hooked On For 2019

Give Netflix a rest for a little while and check out these reality shows (if you’re into that, of course) for 2019. New year, new tv drama!

‘The Masked Singer’ is a singing competition show hosted by Nick Cannon and is based on South Korea’s ‘The King of Mask Singer’ where elaborate, yet kind of scary costumes are used to “hide” the identities of its competitors…who are all celebrities. The judging panel consists of Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke. A pretty fun twist on the typical performance competition shows.

‘Celebrity Big Brother’ is just how it sounds, the celebrity version of ’Big Brother.’ The show follows a group of celebrities living together in a house with 87 cameras and over 100 microphones, recording their every move for 24 hours a day. Some of the celebs this season include Tamar Braxton, Kandi Burrus, Tom Green and Joey Lawrence. Each week, someone will be voted out of the house and the last remaining Houseguest receives a grand prize.

‘Black Ink Chicago’ is still going strong and still bringing lots of entertaining moments. This season, Ryan returns to his throne and attempts to rebuild the #9MAG team after last year’s ugly split. But, can the original crew get along with Ryan’s new artists? It all unfolds on Season 5.⠀⠀⠀⠀

‘Love After Lock Up’ follows couples who meet their significant other for the first time when their released from jail and jump straight into dating, meeting the family and experiencing other first-time moments together. Please believe there is a lot of intensity, strong emotions and bumps in the road to happily ever after with these couples getting adjusted to love and life after lock up.

‘Ex On The Beach’ has 8 singles (4 girls, 4 guys) enjoying a summer holiday in paradise… until their exes show up. Hosted by #RomeoMiller and featuring celebs from “Teen Mom,” “Bad Girls Club, “The Bachelorette,” “The Challenge” and more, the show helps the couples decide whether to stick with their exes or move the hell on.

‘Cartel Crew’ could be considered similar to “Mob Wives,” in the context that both shows revolve around families who were famously and notoriously involved in drug or crime organizations back in the day. The lead of the show is the ’Cocaine Godmother’ Griselda Blanco’s Son, Michael Blanco, in addition to other cast mates with family ties to some other notable OG’s.

Which other reality shows are you watching this year?
