If you tuned into Sunday night’s BET Awards, you may have wondered how the network managed to get both Chris Brown and Karrueche in the same room. If you’re not caught up on their current situation, Kae was recently granted an order of protection against Chris, which requires him to not come within 100 yards of her. BET was definitely conscious of the legal guidelines and managed to keep the exes as far apart as possible.
With the recent debut of her new series, Claws, Karrueche was invited to present an award long before Chris was on board to perform at the show. With Chris added to the performance roster, the network did their due diligence to avoid an awkward encounter.
According to TMZ, Tran was moved to a separate holding room when Chris took the stage and Chris never even sat in the audience – ensuring the two didn’t cross paths. However, that didn’t stop Breezy’s crew from getting into an altercation with Kae’s rumored new boo, Quavo, and the rest of The Migos at an after party. Fortunately, Karrueche was nowhere near that scuffle.
