Beyonce and Donald Glover To Sing “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” For Live-Action “The Lion King”

The live-action remake of the Disney animated classic, “The Lion King,” is really happening, and as the star-studded cast and crew prepare for the release of the new version, new details have surfaced pertaining to the soundtrack for the film.

In a recent appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” Billy Eichner, who signed on as the voice of meerkat Timon, revealed that not only will he be singing alongside Queen Bey in the film, but also dished on another highly-anticipated duet.

“I play Timon,” Eichner revealed, adding, “Timon and Pumba start singing ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight,’ and then it segues into Beyonce and Donald Glover singing it.”

As previously reported, Beyonce and Donald Glover are set to voice the film’s lead lion duo, Nala and Simba, respectively. James Earl Jones has also signed on to reprise his role as Mufasa, joining a long list of heavy hitters, including John Oliver, Eric Andre, Keegan-Michael Key, and Seth Rogen, who will play Pumba, opposite of Eichner.
