Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Twins Aren’t The Babies in the OTRII Intro Video

Last June, #Beyoncé and #JayZ welcomed their twins Sir and Rumi into the world. One month later, the Queen shared a picture of the new additions. Since then though, the couple has managed to keep the babies out of the public eye, that is, until the two kicked off their highly anticipated On the Run II Tour.

Just moments after the lights dimmed in Cardiff, Wales on Wednesday, pictures and videos from the show surfaced on the Internet. In true Queen Bey fashion, the concert opened with a poetic introduction, complete with quotes and staged photos of Jay and Bey, including a photo of the two holding two children.

Initially, fans were ecstatic to witness the unveiling of the Carter twins, but as it turns out, the babies pictured were not Rumi and Sir Carter. In fact, a rep for the singer simply told BuzzFeed, “It’s not,” after the publication if they were Jayonce’s twins.

Despite the confusion, the twins were, in fact, featured in the visuals for the OTRII when the couple showed footage from their vow renewal, which Beyonce’s mother confirmed on Instagram in a post, captioned, “My babies.”
