Beyonce “Lemonade” Lawsuit Thrown Out


Beyonce has scored yet another victory — not that we thought she would be losing this battle.

You may recall Beyonce was being sued by filmmaker, Matthew Fulks, who alleged that the 39 second trailer for Beyonce’s “Lemonade” visual album was inspired by parts of his 2014 movie, “Palinoia.” He claims Queen Bey copied his graffiti-covered walls, red tinted images, dimly lit parking garages and closeup shots of “overgrown grass.” Beyonce flipped it on Fulks, saying that there’s no way their films could be anything alike because “Lemonade” depicted a strong black woman and his film was about a depressed white guy.

It appears that the judge agrees with Beyonce and the case has officially been thrown out.
