Birdman Wants An Extension To Respond To Tyga’s $10 Million Lawsuit Over Royalties To His Albums

Earlier this year, Tyga filed a lawsuit against Cash Money and Young Money Records for not paying him royalties to his albums, “Careless World” and “Hotel California” after parting ways in 2016.

Tyga is suing for $10 Million in damages for breach of contract. According to The Blast, the rapper has asked several times for his money and was never paid.

In recent court documents filed by Birdman, he wants to work out a settlement with Tyga but is asking for an extension to respond. Birdman was supposed to answer this past week but has requested an extension until the end of the month.

Reports say that Tyga has already agreed to the “extension of time to facilitate ongoing settlement discussions.”

A judge has yet to respond to Birdman’s request.
