At the tender age of 5, the “Most Beautiful” girl in the world hails from Nigeria!
On July 20th, Lagos, Nigeria-based photographer Mofe Bamuyiwa posted three portrait photos of Jare Ijalana to her Instagram and Twitter account, showcasing Ijalana’s stunning complexion and “doll-like” features. The photos were so breathtaking, Bamuyiwa went on to dispel, on the photo’s caption, any doubt that Jare is truly “human.”
“Oh yes she’s human! She’s also an angel! “J A R E,“ the lifestyle-and-wedding photographer wrote as the photo’s caption. “I want to portray the interception between her childhood and adulthood so both stay timeless! I could have made her smile and make her laugh out loud but I put her in their natural moments for us to see through their eyes! Posing them as adults! Was my trick to create it a timeless portrait!”
A “timeless portrait,” indeed. Since sharing Jare’s angelic features with the world, the photo has gone viral on social media, netting countless shares and more than 28,000 likes on Instagram — and several people naming her the ‘most beautiful girl in the world.’
This week Bamuyiwa told Yahoo Lifestyle that “Jare isn’t a professional model,” and added her two sisters, Jomi, 7, and Joba, 10 have also posed for photos with their “striking features and strong characters.” To capitalize off Jare’s viral success and help showcase the trio’s potential future as models, their mother launched an Instagram page called “The J3 Sisters.” To date, the sisters have 6 posts and 33.6k followers, which is surely going to increase in the coming weeks.
“All I want is for everyone to see Jare’s powerful potential,” Bamuyiwa went on to add to Yahoo Lifestyle. ”I want the photo to speak to her when she has reached her adulthood.”
