The Breakfast Club To Hold #Change4Change Radiothon for ‘The Gathering For Justice’ to Help the Fight Against Racial Inequalities and Social Injustices

On Thursday, Power 105.1’s ‘The Breakfast Club’ announced an all-day radiothon to benefit an organization that works to eliminate racial inequalities, social injustices, and child incarceration. ‘The Gathering For Justice’ sponsors several movements, including Colin Kaepernick’s “Know Your Rights Camp,” to drive its mission to fight for equality and social justice.

The radiothon, which has been dubbed #Change4Change, will begin on November 16, 2017, during The Breakfast Club’s segment, expanding across more than 75 syndicated markets through midnight. DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God will host the event, encouraging listeners to donate to the cause.

“We truly value and appreciate the support of The Breakfast Club and their listeners. This on-air fundraiser will help The Gathering for Justice continue its work changing the landscape of the criminal justice system and advocating for racial justice in our community,” the Executive Director of ‘The Gathering for Justice’, Carmen Perez, said.
