MTV celebrated the 2019 Video Music Awards Monday night, with some of music’s biggest names in the audience.
Missy Elliot, Normani, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, H.E.R, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, and Queen Latifa were just a few of the A-listers that performed at the VMAs, which took at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Missy Elliott also received a very special honor at the awards show, after an epic seven-minute performance. The legendary performer was honored with the annual Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
