Danry Vasquez Proposed To Girlfriend After Beating Her In Texas Stadium Stairwell; She Said ‘Yes!’

On Wednesday, surveillance footage surfaced of a former professional baseball player physically assaulting his girlfriend in a Texas stadium stairwell.

Since then though, new details about the couple’s relationship have been released.

Not only did Danry Vasquez’s girlfriend beg prosecutors to drop the charges against her boyfriend in the wake of his arrest, but she also accepted his marriage proposal, according to TMZ.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Two months after the incident, Vasquez posted a photo with his girlfriend with the caption, “the person who is always with me in the good and the not so good!”
“You are the love of my life and with you I will be until the end of the world princess,” he wrote.

Despite the brutal video, the girlfriend claims the attack was “an isolated incident.” Meanwhile, Vasquez’s attorney claimed he was going through something at that time, and his girlfriend was there for him through it all.

“I recall conversations about the extreme stress he was under and the pressures to perform that he was young. Came to USA at a young age with no parents (accommodating him) and no guidance…just his dreams. She never excused his behavior just loved him enough to believe they could move forward,” the attorney said.
