Derrick Rose To Sign With Minnesota Timberwolves; Girlfriend Sends a Message To The Haters

Well, it looks like Derrick Rose’s NBA career will last a few more months, at the very least, as the baller will be signing a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the rest of the season.

The point guard has been plagued with injuries, which has since comprised his career in the league. Although he is still fighting for the dream, the baller played only 16 games this season and even took some time off to reconsider his career path. However, upon his return, he was traded by the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Utah Jazz and immediately waived to become a free agent.

As talks of retirement surfaced in the wake of Rose’s unfortunate situation, the baller managed to secure a deal for at least a few more months. In fact, his girlfriend, who is expecting, took to Instagram to confirm the news and send the haters a message.

“What was said,” she wrote, followed by a slew of emojis, under a photoshopped picture of Rose in a Timberwolves jersey.

Do you think Rose will find success in Minnesota? He is expected to play under Jeff Teague for the veteran minimum.
