Derrick Ward Hit With A Restraining Order After Allegedly Threatening To Kill His Wife

Former NFL star Derrick Ward has been slapped with a restraining order after allegedly threatening to kill his wife, Naomi Lee Allen-Ward.

In documents obtained by the @blast, Naomi says the incident occurred on Tuesday after the couple got into an argument. However, things took a turn for the worse when Ward blew up, screaming, “I hate you! I’ll kill you … I don’t care if I go to jail.”

After the incident, Naomi reportedly went straight to the police station. The cops took a report and suggested a restraining order. She then went straight to the court to file the documents, which were granted shortly after.

However, according to Naomi’s suit, this was not an isolated incident. Naomi says he became physically abusive over the last year, citing an incident in October, where she claims he strangled her and called her stupid.

According to the publication, Naomi says Ward has “explosive fits of anger,” due to his “drug addiction to painkillers.” As a result, a judge has ordered Ward to remain 100-yards away from Naomi and their two children. Ward has also been ordered to leave the family home.
