DJ Envy Threatens To Ban Nicki Minaj’s Records From Power 105.1 Over DJ Self Beef

On Monday evening, following a promo stop at New York’s Power 105.1 with DJ Clue, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to air out a grievance with DJ Self. Minaj alleged that Self took shots at her upon her leaving the station and even told the DJ that she’d be back with “hungry ni**as” for Self to give reiterate his issues to.

Now, the hosts of Power 105.1’s #TheBreakfastClub, particularly DJ Envy, has made it known that they have an issue with Minaj’s threats to DJ Self.

“You can’t threaten the DJ’s,” #Charlamagne said in response to Nicki’s tweets. “The DJ’s will stop playing your record.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Envy also chimed in stating, “Nicki can have her opinion on Self, Self can have his opinion on Nicki, but when you start saying I got hungry ni**as that’s gone come up there, that’s a problem.”

Envy went on to say that he would “absolutely” stop playing Minaj’s music, but would have a conversation with Self first.

“I’m hoping Nicki didn’t mean it that way and knowing Nicki she probably didn’t. But if she meant it that way, you damn right and every DJ on this station better stop playing her music.”
