According to reports, Trump has cancelled a planned visit to California this week. California is a huge state he’ll really need if he wants to nab the republican nomination. “Mr. Trump has rescheduled his California trip and will be campaigning in New York,” Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said in an email Thursday morning. “He looks forward to returning to California in the weeks ahead.”
Trump was to hold a press conference Friday at his golf club in Rancho Palos Verdes, according the LA Times.
According to cagop.org, California has 341 total delegates. Trump needs to win the 1,237 delegates required to clinch the nomination without a convention floor fight. California’s primary is officially on June 7. He better get with it.
