Don’t Tear A Person Down So You Can Get Ahead

Everyone has dreams and aspirations of what they want out of life. Many of us pursue the same dreams through different paths but that doesn’t mean that success isn’t guaranteed from both parties.

Just because someone is working in the same field as you doesn’t mean they didn’t work hard to get there. People assume that certain positions are handed to them based on who they know and in some cases that’s far from the truth. But instead of recognizing the work that was put into their craft, people rather tear them down.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Putting someone else down to get ahead isn’t going to improve your success but it does give off the crab in the bucket mentality. There is enough success for everyone, so there is no need to tear someone else down to make yourself look good.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The same energy that was used to tear someone down should be used to focus on your success. Don’t become distracted by what others are doing and focus on you and what you have going on.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember, don’t compare your chapter one to someone else’s chapter ten.
