Ex-NFL Baller Brandon Browner Has Been Charged With Four Felonies, Including Attempted Murder

Former New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks Cornerback, Brandon Browner has been charged with four felonies — including attempted murder — and two misdemeanors after he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend in her Southern California home on Sunday.

According to a press release by the La Verne Police Department, the Deputy District Attorney charged Browner with one count of attempted murder, first-degree residential robbery, first-degree burglary, person present, and false imprisonment. The 33-year-old also faces two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to a child.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in Pomona Superior Court on Tuesday, according to officials.

NBC Los Angeles initially reported on June 8, Browner broke into the home of an ex-girlfriend through a locked window and forced the woman back inside when she tried to run. Police stated, once Browner made his entry into the home he “allegedly physically harmed and made threats to kill the victim inside the residence.”

Officials went on to add that the ex-NFL baller also stole a Rolex watch valued at an estimated $20,000 before fleeing the scene.

Browner’s bail has been set at $10 million. If convicted as charged, Browner faces a possible maximum life sentence in state prison, according to TMZ.
