Fran Drescher and Cardi B In Talks To Collab On New TV Project

Well, Fran Drescher called and Cardi B answered, and now, the two may be teaming up for a television project. But, it won’t be a reboot of the “The Nanny,” as many of you, including Drescher, have hoped.

Instead, according to ET, the two are in talks for a television project, with a “millennial-meets-baby-boomer kind of concept.”

On Thursday, Drescher opened up about the possibility with ET at the annual Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Western Region Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

”I am actually talking to her representation, and it may not be for ‘The Nanny,’ but it could be for something else,” Drescher said. “I would love to work with her.”

“I think we could make a great combo,” she continued. “We both are style icons and have funny voices! And I just think she’s funny, so we’ll see.”

The two met over social media after Cardi paid homage to Drescher’s iconic character from the ‘90s sitcom, “The Nanny,” with a cheetah print outfit for Milan Fashion Week.

“I listen to her, I follow her on Instagram,” Drescher added. “I only really got familiar with her when she paid homage to me on her Instagram, so it’s very nice that she’s a fan of ‘The Nanny’ and a fan of mine and now I’m a fan of hers.”

Who is here for a Drescher and Cardi B collab?
