Greg Hardy got the boot from the NFL this year but that doesn’t mean he no longer has to pay his bills.
Back in 2014, Greg Hardy leased a $240k white 2013 Bentley GT Speed from Second City Leasing. A year later he leased a $200k white 2012 Ferrari California from the same company. Everything was all good until Second City Leasing says Hardy stopped paying on both vehicles in June 2016. For violating the terms of his leases, they are asking Hardy to pay the remaining amounts owed for each car. The total for both cars would come out to $200,736.82 — plus interest.
Greg Hardy is currently looking for a career path in MMA. Maybe he can pick up some extra cash there and get the debtors off his back. We previously wrote a Ballerific Finances blog about the importance of leasing depreciating items, but the thing is — you still have to pay the bill!
