‘Grown-ish’ Gets Renewed For Season 3 on Freeform

Freeform network announced today that “Grown-ish” will be returning for a third season. No surprise since they have such a stellar cast of Yara Shahidi, Chloe x Halle Bailey, Trevor Jackson, Deon Cole and more. Not to mention the clever mind of Kenya Barris.

Freeform President Tom Ascheim is well-aware of the impact “Grown-ish” has had on today’s generation. With storylines that highlight the common issues of the “U up?” text, Adderall addiction, and pressures of clique dynamics, the program undeniably delivers relatable messages for anyone watching.

“At Freeform, our shows are uncompromising and bullish on what’s possible when young adults are empowered to be themselves and share their voice about the things that define them and their generation,” he said. 

The show is still currently airing its second season and reportedly ranks number one in comedy on cable for women ages 18-49, according to Deadline.
