James Fields Jr. Found Guilty Of All Charges In Heather Heyer’s Charlottesville Rally Murder

On Friday, James Alex Fields Jr., the man who plowed into a crowd of counter-protesters last year at the white nationalist Unite the Right rally, has been found guilty of killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer in the incident.

According to NBC News, Fields, 21, was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding, malicious wounding and hit-and-run in connection to the deadly incident in Charlottesville, Virginia. In addition to that, Fields was also charged for 30 federal hate crimes and is still on the hook for additional charges.

Fields has been on trial since November for the murder charge, and after a week of testimonies, a jury panel of seven women and five men found the 21-year-old guilty on all counts.
