Jim Brown Has No Intentions of Abandoning Trump: “And if I can go to have him help poor people…then why shouldn’t I do that?”

Since the presidential election, a few celebrities and big-name ballers have sat down with Donald Trump.  The meetings have caused outrage within the black community, forcing a few ballers to renege on their endorsement. However, others have chosen to stand firm on their commitment to the new Head of State.

According to TMZ, despite Kanye West pulling his support of Trump in the wake of the #MuslimBan, NFL legend Jim Brown revealed he has no intentions of jumping the Trump ship.

“His seat is a great seat of power. The president won his position. He is president. If he can give me respect, I sure can give him respect” Brown said. “And if I can go to have him help poor people, inner city people…then why shouldn’t I do that?”

For him, he believes it is important to keep the channel of communication open, in an effort to be a benefit to those he wants to help.

Brown chose not to judge or comment on Trump’s first three weeks, however, in regards to his concerns and what he wants to do, he says “We are moving along with what I want to do.”
