Back in 2017, Amber Rose was sued by SKWS Enterprises, the owners of the Ace of Diamonds strip club in Los Angeles, after she announced to the audience at the 2017 All Def Movie Awards that she’d bought the club.

SKWS Enterprises wasn’t here for her news and filed a lawsuit against her for slander and wanted a check for $1 million in damages, according to The Blast. Rose also tried to trademark the Ace of Diamonds name but was denied.

This week, a judge dismissed Rose’s request to have the lawsuit dismissed because her attempt to trademark the AOD name was enough for the lawsuit to continue.
