Kim Kardashian Set To Discuss Prison Reform In Wednesday’s White House Meeting

Just one year after Kendall Jenner ended all racial injustice and police brutality with her Pepsi commercial, Kim Kardashian has joined forces with the White House’s Jared Kushner in her own attempts to Make America Great Again.

According to Vanity Fair, the reality superstar extraordinaire  is set to sit down with the Celebrity-in-Chief, Donald Trump, and his son-in-law to discuss prison reform. In fact, a source told Vanity Fair that the beauty brand boss will ask Trump to pardon 62-year-old low-level drug offender, Alice Marie Johnson.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The meeting is set to take place late afternoon on Wednesday, after months of behind the scenes talks between Kardashian and Kushner in preparation to discuss ways to improve the system. While Kardashian will be advocating for Johnson, whose story she learned about on Twitter, Kushner’s continued fight for prison reform has much to do his own personal experiences after his father spent more than a year in a federal prison camp on charges of tax evasion, illegal campaign contributions, and witness tampering.

Despite Kardashian’s celebrity and high maintenance, the reality star is expected to scale it down for her meeting. According to Variety, Kardashian will be leaving her publicist, her husband, her sisters and the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ film crew at home to display her seriousness about the issue.

However, Kardashian’s trip to D.C. will not be all work, as she is scheduled to have dinner with the Kushner’s after the meeting.
