As Khloe Kardashian tries to find peace in the wake of the Tristan Thompson/ Jordyn Woods cheating scandal, Kylie Jenner is trying to find new friends because she’s reportedly given up on making her best friendship with Woods work.
According to TMZ, ever since the fallout over the infamous kiss, the two have been in communication, but haven’t made any real progress towards mending their relationship. Apparently, Woods’ appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s ‘Red Table Talk,” in which she denied sleeping with Thompson, did more harm than good, in Jenner’s case.
“Kylie has had a rough few weeks,” a source told PEOPLE. “She is still upset about the Jordyn situation, although she seems to be doing much better.”
Now, though Jenner is more reluctant than ever about who she allows in her space, she’s determined to expand and explore her options.
“She has been socializing more and trying to find a bigger circle of friends that she can be close with,” the source continued. “After the Jordyn drama, she realized that relying on just one friend is not the best idea.”
In the meantime, Jenner’s sisters are allowing her to handle the situation her own way. “It’s still a tricky situation for Kylie,” the source said to PEOPLE. “And no one is actually putting too much pressure on her. Her family is aware that she is in contact with Jordyn. They are letting Kylie figure things out for herself.”
Although the young makeup mogul is keeping her distance at the moment, she’s open to a relationship with Woods in the future. But, according to TMZ, their best friendship will never be the same.
