The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly investigating rapper Fetty Wap after a woman accused him of assaulting her following his music video shoot.
The unidentified accuser filed a report with the LAPD earlier this week, claiming she met Fetty at a home in Hollywood Hills after initially meeting him at his music video shoot. Fetty allegedly invited the accuser and several other women to a party at an Airbnb, and at some point, the woman ended up joining Fetty Wap in a private room.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the woman is heard accusing Fetty of putting his hands on her, saying, “You really just put your hands on me, for real. Do it again, do it again, ‘fatty.'” Fetty then appears to smack the phone out of her hand.
Sources close to law enforcement say Fetty Wap is under investigation for a felony battery charge and detectives plan to interview the rapper about the allegations soon.
