Laurence Fishburne’s Daughter Begs Judge Not To Give Her Jail Time For Probation Violation

– Blogged By: @carmen.roxanna

Montana Fishburne is back in the hot seat after she is accused of violating her probation by missing a required drug test and leaving town without permission. However, she claims she made the court aware of her frequent trips to #NewYork and that she has tested negative for all drug screenings.

According to The Blast, Fishburne’s Attorney filed a motion on her behalf to have her surrender in court and get the arrest warrant dropped before she showed up.

After her DUI arrest last year, Montana was able to avoid jail but was sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to attend #MADD meetings, DWI school and prohibited from drinking and taking any drugs. She was also required to complete 50 hours of community service and had to get approval to travel.

Montana is adamant she didn’t violate her probation on purpose and thought that she could travel without authorization. She claims at no point was she not trying to “avoid supervision.”
