Lebron James and some of his team mates have joined the likes of the Milwaukee Bucks, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks, who have all pledged not to stay at the Trump Hotel during away games.

The Cleveland Cavaliers play the New York Knicks on Wednesday and Lebron James has made it perfectly clear that he will not be lodging at the Trump Hotel in Soho. James, a Clinton supporter, has been pretty open about his disapproval of president-elect Trump, so despite the reservations being made prior to the 2016 election, James and a number of his teammates will be staying elsewhere.  Iman Shumpert, Richard Jefferson and J.R. Smith have also been vocal against Donald Trump. However, according to CNN, Shumpert will be staying at the Trump Soho. It’s unclear whether or not Smith and Jefferson will also.

Donald Trump does not own the Soho hotel which bears his name but his company does manage it.

According to CBS Sports, “up to half” of the 14 player roster will be changing their hotel accommodations.
