Lil Dicky To Star In FX Comedy Based on His Life; Kevin Hart To Executive Produce 

FX is looking to bring the life of rapper-comedian #LilDicky to the small screen.

According to Deadline, FX Network has handed a pilot order to a half-hour comedy based on the rapper’s life. The story, which was co-written by Dicky, whose real name is David Andrew Burd, and Jeff Schaffer of “Curb Your Enthusiasm, follows a neurotic man in his 20s, played by Burd himself, who works to become one of the best rappers of all time

The pilot, which is still untitled, will be directed by Greg Mottolo, alongside executive producers Schaffer, Kevin Hart, and Scooter Braun. If the show is, in fact, picked up to series, it will join the likes of “Atlanta” “Baskets” and more.
