Magic Johnson Wants You To Relax, He Still Has HIV

Apparently Magic Johnson has heard the rumor that he received the cure for HIV by putting all of his money into miracle drugs and African witch doctors. The former NBA star finally breaks his silence and wants everyone to know he’s been living with HIV for 22 years. It hasn’t gone anywhere. 

“I do have it and have had it for 22 years, it’s just laying asleep in my body.” Magic tells Renada Romaine of Sirius XM’s HipHop Nation. He also says that his wealth hasn’t bought him an extension of life. The Laker legend says he has access to the same 30 drugs that everyone else does and has to take a cocktail of three of them. “The virus acts different in everybody … so just because I’m doing well, you might NOT do well,” he says.

It’s kind of sad that someone would need to explain this.
