Marshawn Lynch Featured as Villain in New Call of Duty Game – blogged by @LoveRubyWoo

Beast Mode is coming to a TV near you. The Seahawks’ star running back will be playing a villain in the new Call of Duty game, Black Ops 3, making him the first athlete to ever make an appearance in the popular video game series. Marshawn is a big-time gamer and a huge fan of Call of Duty himself, so he was extremely excited about the opportunity to get involved with the long-standing franchise. He has been playing the game since his college days at California and now he plays on a daily basis against friends and teammates.

Marshawn’s character in the game is a mercenary who is working for an underworld boss in Singapore. The character will look just like him, while also having his size, speed, and physicality. Yikes…that’s one bad guy you don’t want to mess with!

Here are some photos and videos of Marshawn at the Activision studio in Los Angeles getting into character.

The game is set to be released on November 6. What can gamers and fans expect from the latest addition to the Call of Duty series? “The whole game is Beast Mode,” Lynch proclaims. Enough said.

Marshawn might have a Super Bowl Championship, multiple Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors, and a whole lot of touchdowns under his belt, but to him, this latest accomplishment is his greatest yet. I’ve been in the Super Bowl, movies, music videos, Madden. But to have your own character in Duty is, I mean, it’s almost like you arrived.”
