Mary J. Blige’s Husband Wants 6 Figures in Spousal Support

As we previously reported, Mary J. Blige filed for divorce from her husband of 12-years, Martin Kendu Issac. But, it seems like he is not going out without a check or two or 12.

According to TMZ, Blige’s estranged husband is asking for 6-figures in spousal support, as they go through the divorce. Isaac claims he has grown accustomed to an extravagant lifestyle, being that Blige was the money-maker throughout their relationship. Therefore, he’s asking for $129,319 a month, in order to keep up with the Joneses, in this case the Bliges. Per TMZ, Issac says Blige has made anywhere between $1.5 to $5.1 million over the last two years. However, since she fired him shortly after she filed for divorce, Issac claims he’s left with no income. Sources say Issac believes the couple’s prenup is null and void, since he signed it without a lawyer present. Apparently, Blige paid Issac a total of 85k, because she knows it as well.
