Matt Barnes Airs Derek Fisher’s Dirty Laundry In Legal Battle Against Gloria Govan

Matt Barnes is pulling out all stops in his legal battle with his ex-wife, Gloria Govan, using her fiancé’s dirty laundry to help his case.

In new docs obtained by The Blast, as part of Barnes’ restraining order against Govan, the former baller has provided new information on Derek Fisher to discredit him as a viable witness in Govan’s case.

Last summer, Fisher got into a car crash on a freeway in Los Angeles with Govan riding shotgun. The former NBA coach was arrested and charged with a DUI, later pleading no contest to the charges. As a result, he was sentenced to 100-hours of community service, and ordered to take breathalyzers prior to his future commutes.

To make matters worse, according to The Blast, the car involved in the incident was registered to Matt Barnes, and now, Barnes is using the entire ordeal against him to help maintain his restraining order against Govan, since Fisher is expected to testify as a witness on her behalf in both the divorce and restraining order case.

As part of Barnes’ new filing, he mentions the DUI in hopes to discredit Fisher as an unreliable witness, claiming he’s only motivated by his relationship with Govan.
