NBA All-Star Teams Will Donate Money to Two Charities Of Their Choice

The National Basketball Association announced Thursday that the 2018 NBA All-Star teams will donate its earnings to charity organizations.

The amount of donations for the winning team is $350,000, and even though there will be a losing team, they also will have $150,000 to donate to any charitable group of their choice. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The two team captains, #LeBronJames and #StephCurry, will select any local or national organization to play for, and all proceeds will go to programs that target outreach in Los Angeles. The organizations will be announced at the beginning of February.

The 67th All-Star Game kicks off Sunday, Feb. 18 (8 p.m. ET) and will be located at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. If you are looking to watch, you can catch it on TNT and ESPN Radio.
