Nicki Minaj To Pay For The College Needs Of Over 30 Fans

Nicki Minaj has continued her philanthropic efforts by paying off the tuition, book fee’s, and other student fees of her fans. 

The initiative, launched last year by Minaj, is titled #StudentOfTheGame. Last month the rapper announced the rules for her fans to enter the contest by tweeting her with the amount of money that they need for school.

“Ok just send one tweet w|hashtag #StudentOfTheGame saying how much $ you need & what it’s for,” she tweeted. “All $ will b paid directly towards the tuition, books, etc. I’ll fave ur tweet & DM you if you’ve been chosen, for more info. Not every faved tweet will get a DM.”

The Queens star has since chosen 37 participants to receive funds for school. The winners were announced Friday via Minaj’s personal website.

Fans took to Twitter to thank Minaj for helping them over the years.

“I want to thank @NICKIMINAJ for everything she has done for me, last year she paid for my college so I can go back,” one fan wrote. “she also gave me great advice in the pass, over the years she taught me not to give up what I wanted to do, Thank you Onika.”
