Nicki Stopped My Bags! Fashion Nova Dropped 6-Figures On Shoutout From 6ix9ine, But Nicki Minaj Reportedly Made Him Remove It

Since his abrupt catapult to fame, Tekashi69 has faced a slew of legal issues, but now, as it all comes to a head between the rapper’s arrest, risky gang affiliations and legal bills, it seems things are just going from bad to the absolute worst.

In fact, according to TMZ, the rapper’s new favorite barbie may have cost him a big bag over her longstanding beef with Cardi B.

On Tuesday, the rainbow-haired rapper released his debut album, “Dummy Boy,” which was initially delayed and then leaked. Just hours after the project hit the Internet, record company sources spilled the details behind a few featured tracks, particularly, “MAMA,” featuring Nicki Minaj and Kanye West.

According to the publication, prior to 6ix9ine’s arrest, the rapper inked a 6-figure deal to promote the company on his album, in addition to branding in his music video. Problem is, the shout out was allegedly featured on the song with Minaj, and sources say she was not with it.

In the song, 6ix9ine raps, “Splish splash apple bottoms make that ass phat,” but according to record company sources, the original lyric was supposed to say, “Splish splash Fashion Nova make that ass phat.” However, upon hearing the original lyric, sources tell the publication that Minaj was enraged over Cardi’s deal with Fashion Nova, so she asked her “baby” to cut the brand from the song, which he obliged.

But, not before he secured the bag from the fashion brand. So now, with six figures down the drain and the rapper behind bars, Fashion Nova is on standby, as they have yet to demand a refund. Sources say the company will wait to see what happens with his trial.
