Last year, the wide receiver made it clear that he would not be holding out for an extension, as he believed it never really worked. But, this year, the baller seems to have had a change of heart, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says Beckham “will not set foot on a field” until an extension is in place.

Prior to Beckham’s season ending injury last season, the wide receiver was a beast on the field. With at least 90 receptions, 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns, Beckham was, and still is, an elite talent. But, when it comes to a new contract, John Mara said his star player is not “untouchable,” in regard to the possibility of a trade over a new deal.

Last season the team went just 3-13, but further details of Beckham’s deal and possibility of an extension remain unclear.
